Selling with no internet in the app
The till in the ToLogistiko app keeps selling when the connection drops, with proper receipt and invoice numbers.
The till also runs in the ToLogistiko app on Windows. While the internet is down it keeps selling and printing receipts, and the sales reach your workspace as soon as the connection is back.
Getting a till ready
- Under Setup → Point of Sale → General, tick Let the apps sell with no internet.
- In the app, open Till, pick which till it is and open it, as on the website.
- While online, press Lease numbers for offline. The till takes a block of receipt and invoice numbers with it.
Unused numbers go back when the till syncs, so your invoice series keeps no gaps even with several tills offline.
What works offline
- Selling, discounts, payments in cash, card, transfer or on account, putting a sale aside, and closing the till.
- Receipts print straight to a network thermal printer, or as an 80mm page if the printer does not answer.
- The catalogue and the stock can be looked at but not changed. Stock counts, transfers and purchases stay on the website.
What needs the internet
- Selling a gift card, paying with one and checking its balance. A card can be spent in any of your shops, so only the workspace knows what is left on it.
- Coupons. The workspace checks how often a coupon has been used and by whom, when the sale is paid.
Also at the till in the app
- Find the customer by name, VAT number or mobile. A mobile typed with or without +357 finds the person, also when the number is on one of the customer's contacts.
- Print a Gift receipt from any sale: what was bought and until when it can come back, with no prices.
- Stock shows every product with what is on each shelf. Warehouses are marked, and you can show only what is kept in one place.
Two tills, one last piece
If two tills are offline and both sell the last piece, both sales are kept and the shelf goes below zero. The second sale is marked Oversold and shows under Sales to check, so you can count the shelf and correct it with a stock count.
